Hadith 5:350
Hushaym narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, that he used to see no Zakat on slaves if they were for trade, except for Sadaqat al-Fitr. However, he would value them and pay Zakat on their behalf.
حدثنا هشيم عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم أنه كان لا يرى في الرقيق إذا كانوا للتجارة صدقة إلا الفطر ولكن يقومهم فيؤدي عنهم الزكاة
