Hadith 5:37
9838. Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, from Dawud, from al-Sha'bi, from Jarir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Let the tax collector (musaddiq) depart from you when he departs while he is pleased." And al-Sha'bi said: "The one who transgresses regarding the charity (sadaqah) is like the one who withholds it."
