Hadith 5:409
Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, from Hassan ibn Abi Yahya, who said: A man asked Sa'id ibn Jubayr about charity (sadaqah). He said: "It belongs to those in authority." The man said: "But Al-Hajjaj builds palaces with it and places it in places other than its proper ones." He said: "Place it where you were commanded to place it."
حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد عن حسان بن أبي يحيى قال سأل رجل سعيد بن جبير عن الصدقة قال هي إلى ولاة الأمر قال فإن الحجاج يبني بها القصور ويضعها في غير مواضعها قال ضعها حيث أمرت به
