Hadith 5:411
Waki' narrated to us, from Isra'il, from Jabir ibn Khaythama, who said: I asked Ibn Umar about Zakat. He said: "Pay it to them." Then I asked him again later, and he said: "Do not pay it to them, for they have neglected the prayer."
حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل عن جابر بن خيثمة قال سألت بن عمر عن الزكاة فقال ادفعها إليهم ثم سألته بعد فقال لا تدفعها إليهم فإنهم قد أضاعوا الصلاة
