Hadith 5:426
'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, that he used to say: If a man acquires wealth and wishes to spend it before the arrival of the month of his Zakat, then let him pay Zakat on it, then let him spend it. And if he does not wish to spend it, then let him pay Zakat on it along with his [other] wealth.
حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري أنه كان يقول إذا استفاد الرجل مالا فأراد أن ينفقه قبل مجيء شهر زكاته فليزكه ثم لينفقه وإن كان لا يريد أن ينفق فليزكه مع ماله
