Hadith 5:485
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Abu Ma'shar, from Ibrahim, regarding a man who takes out charity for a poor person, but misses him. He said: He should withhold it until he gives it to another poor person, and he should not take back anything he has made for the sake of Allah.
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن حجاج عن أبي معشر عن إبراهيم في الرجل يخرج الصدقة إلى المسكين فيفوته قال يحبسها حتى يعطيها مسكينا غيره ولا يرجع في شيء جعله لله
