Hadith 5:515
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, from his father, he said: Tawus used to be of the opinion that the tax collector (musaddiq) should sit; if he is given something, he takes it, and if he is not given anything, he remains silent.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا معتمر عن أبيه قال كان طاوس يرى أن يجلس المصدق فإن أعطي شيئا أخذ وإن لم يعط شيئا فسكت
