Hadith 5:539
Hushaym narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Salim, from al-Sha'bi, that he used to say: "Sadaqat al-Fitr is [due] from whoever fasted among the free people, and from the slaves—those among them who fasted and those who did not—[it is] half a sa' of wheat, or a sa' of dates or barley."
حدثنا هشيم عن إسماعيل بن سالم عن الشعبي أنه كان يقول صدقة الفطر عمن صام من الإحرار وعن الرقيق من صام منهم ومن لم يصم نصف صاع من بر أو صاع من تمر أو شعير
