Hadith 5:578
Waki' narrated to us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from Fatimah, from Asma', that she used to give Sadaqat al-Fitr on behalf of those who die, and on behalf of her family, both those present and those absent.
حدثنا وكيع عن هشام بن عروة عن فاطمة عن أسماء أنها كانت تعطي صدقة الفطر عمن يموت ومن أهلها الشاهد والغائب
