Hadith 5:597
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Ja'far, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not give charity except to the people of your religion." Then Allah the Exalted revealed: "Not upon you is their guidance" up to His saying: "And whatever you spend of good, it will be fully repaid to you." He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Give charity to the people of [all] religions."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن أشعث عن جعفر عن سعيد بن جبير قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا تصدقوا إلا على أهل دينكم فأنزل الله تعالى @QB@ ليس عليك هداهم @QE@ إلى قوله @QB@ وما تنفقوا من خير يوف إليكم @QE@ 1 قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم تصدقوا على أهل الأديان
