Hadith 5:688
Mu'tamir narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from Hammad, regarding a man who sends his charity, and it is destroyed before it reaches its recipients. He said: It is in the position of a man who sent a debt to his creditor, and it did not reach him until it was destroyed.
حدثنا معتمر عن معمر عن حماد في الرجل يبعث بصدقته فتهلك قبل أن تصل إلى أهلها قال هي بمنزلة رجل بعث إلى غريمه بدين فلم يصل إليه حتى هلك
