Hadith 5:705
Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, that Umar gave a horse to be used in the way of Allah. Then he saw it being sold in the market, so he asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, if he could buy it. He said: "Do not; leave it, until it meets you on the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا أبو أسامة قال حدثنا عبيد الله عن نافع عن بن عمر أن عمر حمل على فرس في سبيل الله فرآها في السوق تباع فسأل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يشتريها فقال لا دعها حتى توافيك يوم القيامة
