Hadith 5:72
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from ‘Asim ibn Damrah, from ‘Ali, who said: There is nothing [due as Zakat] in less than twenty dinars. In twenty dinars, there is half a dinar. In forty dinars, there is one dinar. Whatever exceeds that is [calculated] by proportion.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن عاصم بن ضمرة عن علي قال ليس في أقل من عشرين دينارا شيء وفي عشرين دينارا نصف دينار وفي أربعين دينارا دينار فما زاد فبالحساب
