Hadith 5:762
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) commanded 'Attab ibn Asid to estimate the grapes just as the date palms are estimated, so that their Zakat is paid as raisins, just as the Zakat of the date palms is paid as dates. That is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) regarding date palms and grapes.
حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم عن عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أمر عتاب بن أسيد أن يخرص العنب كما يخرص النخل فتؤدى زكاته زبيبا كما تؤدى زكاة النخل تمرا فتلك سنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في النخل والعنب
