Hadith 5:849
Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa’id, from Salim, from Aslam, that ‘Umar sent him with camels from the *sadaqah* (charity) to the *hima* (protected pasture). When I intended to depart, he said, "Present them to me." So I presented them to him, and I had loaded my equipment onto one of the she-camels from them. He said, "Woe to your mother! You intended to take a fine she-camel that sustains a household of the Muslims and load your equipment upon it? Why did you not take a *bint labun* (a two-year-old camel) that is weak, or a *shasusa* (a camel with little milk)?"
