Hadith 5:871
Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr, from Uqbah or so-and-so son of Uqbah, from Ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Begging is a scratching on the face of a man on the Day of Resurrection, unless one asks a ruler or in a matter that is unavoidable."
حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن عقبة أو فلان بن عقبة عن بن جندب قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أكل المسألة كد في وجه الرجل يوم القيامة إلا أن يسأل سلطانا أو في أمر لا بد منه
