Hadith 5:873
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Mujalid, from al-Sha'bi, from Habashi al-Saluli, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying: "Whoever asks people [for wealth] in order to increase his wealth thereby, it is [nothing but] scratches on his face and heated stones from Hell that he will eat on the Day of Resurrection." And that was during the Farewell Pilgrimage.
حدثنا بن نمير عن مجالد عن الشعبي عن حبشي السلولي قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول من سأل الناس ليثري به ماله فإنه خموش في وجهه ورضف من جهنم يأكله يوم القيامة وذلك في حجة الوداع
