Hadith 5:874
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Dawud, from al-Sha'bi, who said: Umar said: "Whoever asks people [for wealth] in order to increase his wealth thereby, it is only a burning stone from Hell. So whoever wishes, let him lessen [his asking], and whoever wishes, let him increase [it]."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن داود عن الشعبي قال قال عمر من سأل الناس ليثري به ماله فإنما هو رضف من جهنم فمن شاء فليقل ( ( ( فليقلل ) ) ) ومن شاء فليكثر
