Hadith 5:875
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "For one of you to take a rope, then come to the mountain, then gather firewood from it, then sell it, and eat, and give charity, is better for him than to ask people."
حدثنا بن نمير عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لأن يأخذ أحدكم حبلا فيأتي الجبل فيحتطب منه فيبيعه ويأكل ويتصدق خير من أن يسأل الناس
