Hadith 5:876
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, from al-Zubayr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "For one of you to take a rope, then go and bring a bundle of firewood upon his back, then sell it, and for Allah to preserve his face thereby, is better for him than to ask people for something, whether they give it to him or refuse him."
حدثنا بن نمير عن هشام عن أبيه عن الزبير قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لأن يأخذ أحدكم حبلا فيذهب فياتي بحزمة من حطب على ظهره فيبيعها فيكف الله بها وجهه خير له من أن يسأل الناس شيئا أعطوه أو منعوه
