Hadith 5:880
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from ‘Atiyyah, from Abu Sa’id, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Charity is not lawful for a wealthy person, except for three: [one who is] in the way of Allah, or a wayfarer, or a man who had a neighbor and he gave charity to him, then he (the neighbor) gifted it to him."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن بن أبي ليلى عن عطية عن أبي سعيد قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا تحل الصدقة لغني إلا لثلاثة في سبيل الله أو بن السبيل أو رجل كان له جار فتصدق عليه فاهدى له
