Hadith 5:881
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from ‘Ata’ ibn Yasar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Charity is not lawful except for five: a man who bought it with his wealth, or a man who worked on it, or a wayfarer, or in the way of Allah, or a man who had a neighbor and he gave him charity, so he gifted it to him."
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن زيد بن أسلم عن عطاء بن يسار قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا تحل الصدقة إلا لخمسة رجل اشتراها بماله أو رجل عمل عليها أو بن السبيل أو في سبيل الله أو رجل كان له جار فتصدق عليه فأهدى ( ( ( فأدى ) ) ) له
