Hadith 5:889
Ali bin Hashim narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from al-Hakam, from Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Be independent of people, even if it be with a bite of a tooth-stick (siwak)."
