Hadith 5:895
Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Husayn, from Zayd ibn Wahb, who said: We passed by Abu Dharr at al-Rabadhah, so we asked him about his dwelling. He said: I was in al-Sham, and I recited this verse: "And those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah, give them tidings of a painful punishment." Mu'awiyah said: "It is only about the People of the Book." We said: "It is indeed about us and them."
حدثنا بن إدريس عن حصين عن زيد بن وهب قال مررنا على أبي ذر بالربذة فسألنا عن منزله قال كنت بالشام فقرأت هذه الآية @QB@ والذين يكنزون الذهب والفضة ولا ينفقونها في سبيل الله فبشرهم بعذاب أليم @QE@ 1 فقال معاوية إنما هي في أهل الكتاب فقلنا أنها لفينا وفيهم
