Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 5:908

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Isra'il, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Murra al-Kindi, from Sulayman, who said: I gathered firewood and sold it, then I brought it to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and placed it before him. He said, "What is this?" I said, "Charity." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Eat," and he did not eat.
