Hadith 5:982
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from Humayd ibn Sakhr, from 'Umar ibn Abi Bakr, he said: My father narrated to me, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered the mosque, and there were date-clusters hanging in the mosque, and behold, there was a cluster in it containing unripe dates, and he had with him a palm-stalk, or in his hand was a stick. He said: So he poked it, and said: "Who brought this?" They said: "So-and-so." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Wretched are the people who withhold their charity, then it is cast into the open, and the healthy ones do not eat it." With it is a trembling and shivering towards Ash-Sham.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن حميد بن صخر عن عمر بن أبي بكر قال حدثني أبي قال دخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم المسجد وأقناء في المسجد معلقة وإذا فيه قنو فيه خدود ومعه عرجون أو في يده عصا قال فطعن فيه وقال من جاء بهذا قالوا فلان قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بؤس ناس يمسكون صدقاتهم ثم تطرح ( ( ( يطرح ) ) ) بالعراء فلا تأكلها ( ( ( يأكلها ) ) ) العافية بها جر ( ( ( جركل ) ) ) كل ( ( ( يرفه ) ) ) برقة ورعدة إلى الشام
