Hadith 5:983
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Abi Hafsa, who said: Al-Zuhri narrated to me, from Abu Umama ibn Sahl, who said: People used to give charity from the worst of their fruits, until [the verse] was revealed: "And do not aim for the wicked [part] of it to spend [from that which is] evil, while you would not take it [yourselves] except with closed eyes."
حدثنا أبو أسامة عن محمد بن أبي حفصة قال حدثني الزهري عن أبي امامة بن سهل قال كان ناس يتصدقون بشرار ثمارهم حتى نزلت @QB@ ولا تيمموا الخبيث منه تنفقون ولستم بآخذيه إلا أن تغمضوا فيه @QE@
