Hadith 7:24
Abu Kurayb narrated to us, Yunus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, Zayd ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) set out in search of a man from the Ansar and called for him. The Ansari came out of his house to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) while his head was dripping with water. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, "What is the matter with your head?" He said, "You called me while I was with my wife, and I feared that I would keep you waiting, so I hurried and stood up and poured water over myself, then I came out." He said, "Did you ejaculate?" He said, "No." He said, "If you do that, then do not perform ghusl (full bath). Wash what the woman touched of you, and perform your wudu (ablution) for prayer, for water is from water."
