Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 167:14

Suwayd ibn Sa'id narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, from Mansur, from Mujahid, from a freed slave of the family of al-Zubayr, from 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, from Sawdah bint Zam'ah, who said: A man entered upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "My father is a very old man; he is not able to perform Hajj." He said: "Do you see, if your father had a debt, and you paid it off on his behalf, would it be accepted from him?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then Allah is more deserving, so perform Hajj on behalf of your father."
