Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 151:101

'Abd al-Ghaffar ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from al-A'mash, who said: I heard [a man] from the family of Yusuf say, while he was on the pulpit: "Arrange the Qur'an as Gabriel arranged it: the surah in which the Cow (al-Baqarah) is mentioned, the surah in which the Family of 'Imran (Al 'Imran) is mentioned, the surah in which the Women (an-Nisa') is mentioned." Al-A'mash said: So I met Ibrahim and informed him, and he insulted him. Then Ibrahim said: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid narrated to me that he was with 'Abd Allah ibn Mas'ud when he threw [pebbles at] the Jamrat al-'Aqabah. He went into the bottom of the valley and threw at it from the bottom of the valley with seven pebbles, saying "Allahu Akbar" with every pebble. I said to him: "O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, the people are throwing at it from above it." Ibn Mas'ud said: "By Him besides Whom there is no god, this is the station of the one upon whom Surat al-Baqarah was revealed."
