Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 151:33

Hannad ibn al-Sari narrated to us, Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Murrah al-Hamdani, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the devil has a touch (lammah) and the angel has a touch (lammah). As for the touch of the devil, it is a promise of evil and a denial of the truth. As for the touch of the angel, it is a promise of good and a confirmation of the truth. So whoever finds that, let him praise Allah, and whoever finds the other, let him seek refuge from the devil." Then he recited: "The devil threatens you with poverty..." [Al-Baqarah: 268].
