Shayban narrated to us, 'Ikrimah (meaning al-Azdi) narrated to us, 'Asim narrated to us, from Shaqiq, from Ibn Mas'ud, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying: "The Emigrants (Muhajirun), the Helpers (Ansar), those set free from Quraysh (al-Tulaqa'), and those set free from Thaqif (al-'Utaqa') are allies of one another in this world and the Hereafter."
