Abu Yusuf Ya'qub ibn Ishaq al-Jizi narrated to us, Mu'ammal narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, a sheikh from the people of Medina narrated to us, from Salim, from his father, who said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say in his supplication: "A protection like the protection of the newborn (waqiyatan kawaqiyat al-walid)." Abu Ya'la said: Meaning the newborn (al-mawlüd), and this is how it was explained to us.
