Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 153:47

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, from Musa ibn Uqba, from Nafi’ and Salim, that Ibn Umar, when he would pass by Dhu al-Hulayfah, would spend the night there until morning. And he would inform that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to do that.
