Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 153:84

Ubayd Allah ibn Umar al-Qawariri narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "Kill the snakes, and kill the one with two stripes (dhu al-tufyatayn) and the tailless one (al-abtar), for they take away the eyesight and cause the miscarriage of the fetus." Abdullah ibn Umar said: "While I was chasing a snake, Abu Lubabah saw me and said [something]. I said: 'Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commanded the killing of it.' Abu Lubabah said: 'He forbade that after that.'"
