Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Ar‘arah al-Sami narrated to us in Basra, Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd Allah Abu Ishaq al-Razi narrated to us, Isma‘il ibn Nuh narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, from Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, the people of Paradise do not trade. And if they were to trade, they would not trade except in cloth."
