Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 1:110

Musa ibn Muhammad ibn Hayyan narrated to us, Abu Dawud, the companion of the Tayalisa, narrated to us, al-Mas'udi narrated to us, from Bukayr ibn al-Akhnas, from a man, from Abu Bakr, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Seventy thousand of my nation will enter Paradise without reckoning. Their faces will be like the moon on the night of the full moon, and their hearts will be as the heart of one man." I asked my Lord for more, so He increased me, with every man, seventy thousand. Abu Bakr said: "We used to think that this would cover the people of the villages, and that the increase would reach the people of the desert."
