Hadith 1:18
Surayj ibn Yunus narrated to us, Abd al-Wahhab ibn 'Ata' narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn Abi Ziyad al-Jassas, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Mujahid, who said: Ibn Umar said to his servant, "Do not pass me by Ibn al-Zubayr." The servant became heedless and passed by him. He [Ibn al-Zubayr] raised his head and saw him, so he said, "May Allah have mercy on you. I have not known you except as one who fasts much, prays much, and maintains ties of kinship. By Allah, I hope that despite the evil sins I have committed, He will not punish you." Mujahid said: Then he turned to me and said: Abu Bakr al-Siddiq narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever does evil will be recompensed for it in the world."
