Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 1:41

Zuhayr ibn Harb narrated to us, Ya‘qub ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Salih, from Ibn Shihab: ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr informed me that ‘Aishah, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, informed him that Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked Abu Bakr after the death of the Messenger of Allah to distribute to her her inheritance from what the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had left behind from what Allah had bestowed upon him. Abu Bakr said to her, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'We are not inherited from; what we leave behind is charity.'"
