Abu Musa al-Harawi Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Aisha, who said: They differed regarding the burial of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when he was taken [in death]. Abu Bakr said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "A prophet is not taken [in death] except in the place most beloved to him." He said: "Bury him where he was taken [in death]."
