Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Hasan al-Makhzumi narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Bilal narrated to us, from Abd al-Hakim ibn Abd Allah ibn Abi Farwa, from Ya'qub ibn Utba, from Urwa ibn al-Zubayr, from Aisha: That when Abd Allah ibn Abi Bakr died, they wept over him. So Abu Bakr went out to the men and said, "I apologize to you regarding the matter of these women, for they are recent in their time from the Age of Ignorance." "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: 'Indeed, the deceased is sprinkled with boiling water due to the weeping of the living.'"
