Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 1:47

Kamil ibn Talhah narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Aswad narrated to us, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah—or Asma'—that Abu Bakr stood in the place of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the following year in which the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, died. He said: "I heard your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the summer of the first year in a place like this standing place of mine." Then his eyes overflowed with tears. Then he said: "I heard your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the summer of the first year in a place like this standing place of mine." Then his eyes overflowed with tears. Then he said: "I heard your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the summer of the first year in a place like this standing place of mine." Then his eyes overflowed with tears. Then he said: "I heard your Prophet, peace be upon him, in a place like this standing place of mine, saying: 'Ask Allah for pardon, well-being, and permanent protection in this world and the Hereafter.'"
