Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn 'Ali al-Wasawisi narrated to us, Zayd ibn al-Hubab al-'Ukli narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Sulayman ibn al-Ghasil, from Sharhabil ibn Sa'd, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, from Abu Bakr, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, upon the steps of the pulpit saying: "Fear the Fire, even if with half a date, for it straightens the crooked, wards off an evil death, and it falls upon the hungry person just as it falls upon the satiated one."
