Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 155:11

Al-Harith ibn Surayj narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: "An ant bit one of the prophets, so he ordered the ant colony to be burned, and it was burned. Then Allah revealed to him: 'Because an ant bit you, you burned a nation from among the nations that glorifies Allah?'"
