Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 155:14

Muhammad ibn Yazid, the brother of Karkhawiyah, narrated to us, saying: Abu 'Amir al-'Aqdi narrated to us, saying: Zam'ah narrated to us, from Budayl, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let not one of you say, 'My soul has become wicked' (khabuthat nafsi), but let him say, 'My soul has become troubled' (laqisat nafsi)."
