Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Musayyibi narrated to us, he said: Anas narrated to me, from Yunus, from Ibn Shihab, that he said: Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah informed me that Abu Hurairah heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "An ant bit one of the prophets, so he ordered the ant colony to be burned, and it was burned. Then Allah revealed to him: 'Because an ant bit you, you destroyed a nation from among the nations that glorifies [Allah]?'"
