Abu Ibrahim al-Turjumani narrated to us, Salih al-Murri narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Hassan, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out while we were disputing about the Decree (al-Qadar). He became angry until his face turned red, as if pomegranate seeds had been crushed upon his face. Then he turned to us and said: "Is this what you were commanded to do? Is this what I was sent to you for? Those who came before you were only destroyed when they disputed about this matter. I adjure you not to dispute about it."
