Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 155:21

Ahmad narrated to us, Mubashir narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, that he heard Abu Hurayrah say: Some people recited with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in a prayer in which he recited aloud. When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, finished, he turned to them and said: "Did anyone recite with me?" They said: "Yes." He said: "I say, what is the matter with me that I am being disputed regarding the Qur'an?" Al-Zuhri said: The people took heed of that, and they would not recite in [prayers] where he recited aloud.
