Ibrahim ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Shababa narrated to us, from Abu Bakr al-Hudhali, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) granted a concession regarding the poetry of the Jahiliyyah, except for the poem of Umayyah ibn Abi al-Salt regarding the people of Badr, and the poem of al-A'sha regarding the mention of 'Amir and 'Alqamah.
