Amr al-Naqid narrated to us, Ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, Ayyub and Hisham ibn Hassan narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah—Hisham said: from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)—he said: "Whoever buys a *musarrah* (an animal whose milk has been withheld in the udder to deceive the buyer) has the choice for three days. If he wishes, he may return it along with a *sa'* of dates, not wheat."
